SALUS- Safe Autonomy for Leading Uncrewed Systems

Abstract

Future autonomous aviation ecosystems promise to provide new capabilities to our warfighters and to enable high-speed transportation and commerce at home. Safely building these systems of systems requires assurances that the interactions between independently designed and developed algorithms and systems will not lead to failures or unexpected ethical and social concerns.
