Abstract

Li-ion batteries (LIBs) have become ubiquitous in both civilian and Department of Defense (DoD) applications, spanning from portable electronic devices and electric vehicles to advanced military equipment. Given their pervasive utilization, rigorous safety measures are imperative to safeguard both general and specialized users from potential electrochemical instabilities and subsequent hazards.
