Incommensurate Multi-Walled Nanotubes- Electronic and Mechanical Properties

Abstract

The proposed 3-year-research would develop models, computational tools, and numerical analysis to study the electronic and mechanical properties of the carbon nanotubes systems. The work would adapt tools and methodology from the incommensurate layered two-dimensional materials literature, which the PI has worked with extensively.
