Conference proposal- Emerging Trends in Computational Fluid Dynamics- Towards Industrial Applications
Abstract
This grant would support the Jameson-Kim-Wang (JKW) Symposium to be held at Stanford University from December 5 - 7, 2024, and defray the cost of conference venues and meeting materials. This international symposium will honor Antony Jameson, Chongam Kim, and Z.J. Wang, pioneers in the field of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), on Jameson s 90th birthday and Kim and Wang s 60th birthdays. This grant would also foster the development of the next generation of CFD researchers for industrial applications. Many of these applications will be relevant to the mission of the U.S. Air Force.
