III Workshop on Quantum Information and Thermodynamics (T295)

Abstract

Conference is focused on extending the laws of thermodynamics to the quantum realm, where quantum effects such as coherence and entanglement play a significant role. The field has grown in recent years, driven by advances in technology that have confirmed theories proposed in Quantum Mechanics. The development of quantum heat engines and the rise of quantum computers have highlighted the need for a deeper understanding of thermodynamics in the quantum regime. The project aims to bring together Brazilian and international researchers and students to increase collaboration and advance the state of the art in this field.
