Efficient Computational Simulation of Resonant and Near-Resonant Cavities and Structures

Abstract

We propose to explore and develop a class of novel mathematical ideas and computational and asymptotic methods for the numerical solution of problems of wave propagation and scattering, as well as other linear and nonlinear partial differential equations (PDE), with applicability to some of the most challenging areas of science and engineering, and with significant impact on areas of interest to DoD.
