DisCoVor 2025- 4th Colloquium on Vortex Dominated Flows

Abstract

The DisCoVor 2025 colloquium is focused on the flow physics of unsteady, vortex-dominated flows. Unsteady flows with multiple interacting vortices that play an important role in the flow or system are the central subject of this colloquium. Research areas of particular interest include fluid-structure interactions, biological flight-swimming, physiological flows, flow control, energy harvesting, separated flows, wakes, and other shear and vortical flows. We expect up to 100 participants from all over the world with a combination of experimental, computational, and analytical contributions.
