The U.S.-Africa Frontiers Program- Catalyzing Collaborations in Science, Engineering and Medicine
Abstract
The goal is to raise the African attendees awareness of opportunities offered by AFOSR and DOD, demystify the application process, generate white papers and applications to AFOSR-DOD, and catalyze follow-up SandT collaborations between U.S. and African researchers. Staff time will also be dedicated to developing the capacity of the symposium attendees to successfully collaborate with the Air Force and other DOD agencies to foster better cooperation and coordination on scientific and regional priorities.
