Small Arms Fire Control
Abstract
The M157 Next Generation Squad Weapon - Fire Control (NGSW-FC) is an advanced fire control device to support the Next Generation Squad Weapons. NGSWFC increases the probability of hit and decreases the time to engage through a variable powered direct view optic with integrated range finder, ballistic calculator, and digital display capable of providing an adjusted aim point. The M157 NGSW-FC will utilize open architecture to deliver the initial increased core capability followed by increasing increments of capability/enhancements over time as technology matures and evolves
