Army High Performance Computing Research Center
Abstract
This Project supports critical research at the Army High Performance Computing Research Center (AHPCRC). Research at the AHPCRC is focused on the Lightweight Combat Systems Survivability, computational nano- and bio-sciences, computational battlefield network and information sciences including evaluating materials suitable for armor/anti-armor and sensor applications, defense from chemical and biological agents, and associated enabling technologies requiring computationally intensive algorithms in the areas of combat systems survivability, battlefield network sciences, chemical and biological defense, nanoscience and nanomechanics, and computational information sciences, scientific visualization enabling technologies that support the future force transition path. This program ends in Fiscal Year (FY) 17. The cited work is consistent with the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Science and Technology priority focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Work in this Project is performed by the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) in Adelphi, MD.
