National Bridging Workshops
Abstract
Convinced of the value of these cross-sectoral bridging events, the WHO and OIE are willing to improve their format in order to make them more user-friendly and able to deliver intelligible outcomes that can be used for strategic planning and capacity building. This project will consolidate the operationalization of the approach by supporting the development of adjusted formats able to adapt to various contexts, and by developing material such as manual for assessors, standard presentation, case studies, and reporting forms to be gathered in a training kit ready for use. A pool of experts able to organise and conduct the IHR-PVS Bridging Events will be created and a specific learning program will be designed to train them. Finally, the project will support the organisation of 10 workshops in vulnerable countries from Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
