Discovery and development of small molecule and antibody therapeutics using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Abstract

The objective of this proposal is to leverage machine learning approaches to facilitate the identification of novel small molecules for the development of medical countermeasures against infectious biological agents. We hypothesize that using ML to select novel antimicrobial small molecules and conjugating them to broadly reactive monoclonal antibodies will lead to the generation of highly efficacious drugs for the treatment of infections caused by antimicrobial resistant bacteria.
