"Let s Make a Difference"
Abstract
Our goal is to improve reading sores on state-mandated reading tests for military connected students in our middle schools by a total of 8% over 5 years by providing/implementing: 1) the "Literary First Framework" in ALL classrooms, 2) "Reading Plus" in language arts and special education classrooms and after-school programming, 3) providing students with much needed after-school tutoring, and 4) Professional Learning Communities to share best practices, evaluate data and progress toward our intended goals.
