Belle Chasse Academy
Abstract
Belle Chasse Academy, a public charter school housed on NAS/JRB in Belle Chasse, requests this MCASP funding to grow and improve our standards-based afterschool tutoring program. The educational mission of BCA is to serve the unique emotional and educational needs of military dependent students no matter their previous education or experiences. These students represent 86% of our population and it is our goal to offer the most comprehensive child-specific tutoring, based on Professional Learning Communities, to not only raise the level of academic excellence in our school, but send our students to their next stations better prepared for success.
