Project LEADSS, Leadership, Education and Development of Social Skills
Abstract
With a focus on support for military dependent students social-emotional wellbeing. Project LEADSS, Leadership, Education and Development of Social Skills, is designed to address the current challenges and issues faced by military dependent students at Fort Leavenworth USD #207. To accomplish our goals, we propose to increase the level of social and emotional support for students by implementing a school-wide behavior management program. The intent of this program is to help teachers deploy the curriculum, instructional practices and resources that enable every student to be successful academically, behaviorally, socially and emotionally through improved school climate and student leadership opportunities.
