STEM
Abstract
Burkburnett Independent School District will soar with STEM for military-dependent students at John Tower Elementary, Burkburnett Middle School, and Burkburnett High School. Through professional development, teachers will create innovative classrooms using projected-based learning, and emphasis will focus on STEM-related activities. Teachers, who are trained to be leaders through systemic coaching, will teach their colleagues in order to sustain the project. Immersion in this student-centered learning will provide accelerated growth for military-students will gain solving and critical thinking skills and benefit from collaborative efforts.
