Project SERVICE (Science, Engineering, Reflection, Vision, Inquiry, Career Ready, Engagement)

Abstract

Project SERVICE (Science, Engineering, Reflection, Vision, Inquiry, Career Ready, Engagement) is designed to prepare students for success in Science and Math at three Kindergarten-8th grade schools located on Camp Pendleton by increasing the in-class supports and the use of educational technology. Community STEM activities will help elicit support for the schools and students from outside the schools. Science and math learning will extend beyond the school day with engaging problem-based activities. Students will participate in inquiry-based thinking in order for them to become our next innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve the most pressing challenges that lie ahead.
