Student-Centered Learning to Support Success Project

Abstract

Student-Centered Learning to Support Success Project goals are to improve the achievement of military dependent students in the follow areas: English in Grades 6-8 and Math in Grades in 6-Geometry. Key components include: (1) Response to Intervention/Tutoring: Increase the devices available in each participating classroom to a minimum of five to be used in stations to implement a Tiered System of Supports to provide students with multiple opportunities to learn; (2) Virtual Learning (Blended Learning, Credit Accrual, Credit Recovery): The second component is to use digital curriculum to support blended learning in English (Grades 6-8) and Math (Grade 6-Geometry).
