Bishop on Track A College Preparation and STEM Enrichment Project
Abstract
Bishop On Track will serve military-dependent students in rural southwest Oklahoma. The project will have a primary focus of preparing students for postsecondary engagement. The first CCR goal will be to increase achievement in literacy through integration of new curriculum, professional development, intervention techniques, and afterschool tutoring. The second CCR goal will be to increase student awareness of postsecondary preparation through services offered by area postsecondary institutions, campus tours, and workshops. The project will have a secondary focus of supporting STEM engagement. The STEM goal will be to increase student proficiency on standardized assessments through STEM labs and professional development.
