Project ENGAGE (College and Career Readiness through Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
Abstract
Project ENGAGE is designed to prepare students for success in Science and Math, ultimately better preparing them for College and Career options. Our Transitional Kindergarten-6th grade school is located adjacent to the United States Coast Guard Training Center, TRACEN. Project ENGAGE will increase in-class supports and the use of educational technology through the use of STEM activities. Science and math learning will also extend beyond the school day with engaging problem-based activities. Students will participate in inquiry-based thinking in order for them to become our next innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve the challenges that lie ahead.
