Great Expectations And Results Urgency Plan 4 College and Career Readiness (GEAR UP 4 CCR)
Abstract
GEAR UP 4 CCR will enhance educational opportunities for military-connected students through enhanced STEM-based learning opportunities, enriched professional development for K-12 teachers, and expanded Robotic programming in grades K-12. This grant is the first in a strategically-planned series of GEAR UP Initiatives which will ensure a quality, forward-focused, personalized educational program is provided to all students. Through embedded, research-proven training, this grant will strengthen teacher Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) to better prepare students for post-secondary success. The grant will also create new and expanded opportunities for students to engage in STEM and CCR learning activities.
