Abstract
Indy “C” C.A.R.S. (Careers, College, and Readiness Skills) project goals are to increase student achievement through implementing College/Career Ready standards beginning with Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade in the areas of math, reading, and science. Equally important to the acquisition of academic skills is the necessity of career research and determining career interest, plus the acquisition of employability skills. Therefore, the project goal is to assure that all students, with a focus on military dependent student subgroups, begin career interest research and acquirement of employability skills and develop an individualized ‘working’ career plan while working on academic achievement.
