Promoting College and Career Readiness Through STEM
Abstract
The primary goal of “Promoting College and Career Readiness through STEM” is to develop learning opportunities that guide students towards STEM pathways. Through designing and producing innovative products, students, and the teachers who support them, are empowered to make a difference in their classrooms, communities, and the world around them. Our goals are to improve the college and career readiness outcome of military dependent middle and high school students in STEM. This will be accomplished through developing STEM class opportunities and by providing teachers professional development in strategies for problem-solving and project-based learning.
