Abstract
With a focus on strengthening student access to and success in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) career and college pathways, Leavenworth High School will provide its military-connected students with increasing opportunities to engage in STEM projects and activities, both inside and outside the school day, with the expectation of increasing their STEM career and college readiness. Specifically, LHS will implement STEM project-based learning (PBL) across the curriculum to develop a core of STEM aptitudes and skillsets within its military-connected students that will provide them the foundation to explore successfully their interests and potential experiences in these fields that wield a significant impact on the world today and in the future.
