Basic Training is Primary - Supporting the Development of Inquiry in STEM in grades K-4

Abstract

WCSD will continue to work with the North Country STEM Hub, one of 56 nationally recognized STEM Ecosystems, to sustain, promote, and expand its STEM programming to best meet the needs of district students. Collaboration with this network will continue to support program leadership, development, and evaluation. With this DoDEA grant project, Watertown will “pave the way” to lasting programs that support student success in science through hands-on, minds-on engaging activities, professional skills, and habits of mind that help students see themselves as future STEM professionals.
