VBCPS Spanish Immersion Expansion Project
Abstract
The VBCPS Spanish Immersion Expansion project will: 1) expand immersion program to include two-way dual language immersion and 2) improve student competency in the four communicative skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking and 3) increase sustained interest in world language courses as students matriculate from elementary to middle school and from middle school to high school. This proposal represents the commitment of our division in supporting military connected students to achieve an advanced level of proficiency in language by expanding our current Spanish Immersion program.
