Reinforcing Education Critical to Understanding Interactive Technology (RECRUIT)
Abstract
Duval County Public Schools-DCPS Reinforcing Education Critical to Understanding Interactive Teclmology - RECRUIT program is a district-wide initiative to provide STEM instruction, coupled with experiential learning and real-world experiences, to build 1,835 K-8 students interest and achievement in STEM and military-aligned careers. As a result, improved readiness for future military-aligned STEM-related education and increased STEM outcomes will be supported. This will increase local STEM workforce development to include the Department of Defense, the county s largest employer.
