Two Way Immersion in the Elementary School Program
Abstract
Two Way Immersion in the Elementary School Program aims to increase the access and use of world language instruction in order to support academic success, achievement, and post graduation opportunities for students in HCPS. With this grant, HCPS will implement a two way immersion program at Emmorton Elementary School in Bel Air, Maryland using a phased approach. Of our military connected schools, Emmorton has the most diverse English learner population. To best serve the needs of our community, providing multiple language offerings is the long term goal for sustainability.
