Let Learn Madarine Chinese
Abstract
WCPS will establish and implement a Mandarin Chinese program in one new middle school with a military student population of 49 percents, which is located on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. The targeted middle school will participate in this innovative language program, helping students learn a logographic language and culture using the four key skills reading, writing, listening and speaking. At the same time, cultural components will be embedded in the learning process.
