STEM and Career Exploration through the Far North Fab
Abstract
The primary goal of our project entitled, STEM and Career Exploration through the Far North Fab Lab, is to effectively implement clear STEM and CTE pathways that will enable students from the Delta Greely School District to graduate from high school with the requisite skills to successfully enter post secondary programs, or graduate with certifications and skills in STEM and CTE fields. We want to ensure that every graduate is ready to Employ, Enroll or Enlist after graduation and will accomplish this with every student graduating with a transition plan for after high school. We have STEM based equipment but it has been scattered throughout the school and this limits the usefulness and access to the equipment for the inclusion of STEM and career pathway projects.
