Structured Literacy A Systems Approach to Teaching K to 5 Reading and Writing
Abstract
Structured Literacy Program to include a literacy coach who will lead the development and implementation of a robust literacy curriculum for grades K to 5, explicit instructional lessons and modules that teach the Science of Reading, evidence based literacy strategies and resources, tiered interventions to provide on the spot remediation and support, extension activities to provide enrichment and extended learning opportunities, engaging school wide literacy activities and book studies, and professional development experiences that will directly impact student learning in the classroom, across all disciplines.
