Increasing the Math Achievement of Military Connected Students
Abstract
This project will increase the math achievement of military connected students in grades K to 4 on qualitative and or quantitative measures by the end of the grant term, at two schools, LEARN 6 and LEARN 10 in Great Lakes, IL and North Chicago, IL that serve families from Naval Station Great Lakes. To meet this goal, staff will implement a Multi tiered System of Support, a proven framework for supporting learning. Funding from this grant would support the improvement of Tier 1 math instruction for all 480 K to 4 students and the implementation of new Tier 2 services for about 100 students per year needing more intensive support.
