Science Scholars Early Invention
Abstract
Based on math and science Oklahoma State Testing Program science test scores, military connected students need additional, engaging instruction in science and mathematics. The Science Scholars Early Intervention project will meet this need. A multi media center will be created in each school, focusing on immersive 3D VR technology, with the inclusion of a STEM makerspace. K to 12th grade students will spend time weekly in this center, participating in STEM projects, research, and learning activities with the goal to increase student achievement in science on the OSTP and ACT.
