Abstract

The Kailua Kalaheo Complex Area’s DoDEA World Languages Advancement and Readiness Program proposal introduces our project, Building World Language Proficiency through Enrichment Experiences in an Expanded K to 12 World Language Pipeline. Our project will accomplish the following. Goal 2 More military connected elementary school students in the Kailua Kalaheo Complex Area’s K to 12 world language pipeline will have access to world language programs through out of school time learning experiences such as summer learning opportunities, intersession experiences, and family engagement activities in Spanish or Japanese as evidenced by quantitative and/or qualitative measures by May 31, 2029.
