Utilizing Strategies for Maximum Impact on Literacy

Abstract

The past four academic years have been challenging due to the Covid 19 pandemic, resulting in many students being unprepared for grade level reading and writing expectations. Project US MIL aims to address this through three evidence based strategies. Direct services to students are supported by a systemic, systematic, collaborative, job embedded professional learning program, with an emphasis on internal capacity and the development of teacher efficacy and leadership. Military connected students who participate. in project activities will be better prepared to meet grade level standards in reading and writing.
