Count on All Spartans
Abstract
South Jefferson Central School District, serving students and families of U.S. Army Fort Drum, proposes the MCASP project, Count on All Spartans, to improve student outcomes in mathematics for military connected students in grades P to 5 at Maynard P. Wilson Elementary School. The project will implement an evidence based teacher coaching program to improve the instructional effectiveness of P to 5 teachers. Students in grades 3 to 5 are currently achieving growth levels in mathematics at a far lower rate than peers on New York State assessments.
