Knights Renaissance
Abstract
Copenhagen Central school will enact Knights Renaissance as a way to bring about a rebirth of their current STEAM program, enhancing the academic and holistic development of all students, including Military Connected Students. The project will focus on overall academic achievement, with an emphasis on STEAM achievement. By May 2029, the project endeavors to show a significant increase in student achievement through both quantitative and qualitative measures. This project addresses gaps in the STEAM program by establishing an elementary science lab and an art classroom. Additionally, a crucial element involves hiring a STEAM Integration Specialist who will guide teachers in effective STEAM integration into their classrooms. This multifaceted approach seeks to elevate the quality of our current STEAM program, fostering a more engaging and impactful learning experience for students. Through strategic interventions and a commitment to both scientific and artistic education, the Knights Renaissance Project envisions a transformative impact on students, preparing them not only academically but also equipping them with the skills essential for success in the ever changing landscape of higher education and professional careers
