Oshkosh Region (DIA)
Abstract
In response to the maturation of the Oshkosh Regional Defense Industry Diversification Initiative (ORDIDI) and evolving local and regional needs in response to the elimination of ~2,000 positions at the Oshkosh Corporation (OC), the Oshkosh Region (represented by the ORDIDI Program Steering Committee) is requesting the following: • Supplemental funding from OEA in the amount of $188,798 (federal) / $18,880 (non-federal); and • Authorization to change scope elements of 2 of the 6 approved contractual elements. These changes will allow the region to refine the defense industry adjustment program, developed in response to impacts caused by reduced defense procurement (generally) and specifically the loss of ~2,000 Oshkosh Corporation employees
