Willow Grove NAS JRB
Abstract
The primary purpose of this application is to request OEA financial and operational assistance to continue the transition process related to the redevelopment of the now closed NAS-JRB Willow Grove. This assistance consists of personnel, travel expenses, supplies, rental of office space, computer, phone, webpage upkeep, printing, audit, and advertising. The funding will permit the current Horsham Land Redevelopment Authority staff to continue operations during the Navy’s review of the EDC application and the resulting negotiations of the terms and conditions of the property transfer, as well as, developing the exclusive negotiation agreement and master developer agreement with a master developer; developing zoning and land entitlement provisions related to the redevelopment for consideration by the local municipality. It will also permit continuing efforts regarding public relations regarding the future redevelopment.
