Fort Meade
Abstract
As a result of continued Fort Meade growth, the ability of local jurisdictions to meet the growing demands for quality services, amenities and facilities for all residents is becoming more difficult. By drafting a regional plan that analyzes growth impacts and offers solutions, the Regional Growth Management Committee (RGMC) will help local jurisdictions meet these demands. Maintaining the overall health of the surrounding region is critical since the health of the region is integral to the health of the installation, and vice-versa. The RGMC is requesting OEA support to continue its focus on analyzing the impacts of growth, proposing solutions to address these impacts and offering a sustainable path of problem solving collaboration.
