Abstract
The purpose of this grant is to provide operational and contractual support to the Town of Niagara Falls, New York, which is serving as the Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA) for the purpose of implementing the redevelopment plan for the former Niagara Falls United States Army Reserve Center/Area Maintenance Support Activity. This former Army facility closed September 15, 2011 as a result of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) law. Activities supported by this grant are personnel support to Town of Niagara LRA for completion of an Economic Development Conveyance (EDC). Contractual assistance to support an EDC application and business plan, and provide environmental advisory services; Contractual Legal assistance to provide legal review of all documents; The grant period is August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016.
