Aberdeen Proving Ground
Abstract
This application represents an effort to carry out critical recommendations from the Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) region. The JLUS identifies critical encroachment recommendations associated with the following compatibility areas with high-priority recommendations: communication & coordination, operational noise, and adjacent land uses. Due to timing constraints associated with the pending initiation of a master planning activity for the Edgewood Village area, this application requests assistance imbuing that Edgewood Village master planning activity with recommendations from the APG JLUS. The mode for imbuing that planning activity with JLUS recommendations is through support for a small area study for the Edgewood Village planning area that intersects with proposed APG Military Compatibility Areas (MCA).
