St. Louis Region - Cyber Security Phase II

Abstract

Now, the Partnership requests of OEA new grant funding to expand the Cybersecurity Compliance programming in greater depth for defense industry contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in the City of St. Louis and Missouri counties of the St. Louis MO-IL MSA. The essence of this funding request proposal is to provide Cybersecurity Compliance programming to a target audience of approximately 332 firms in the Missouri counties of the St. Louis MO-IL MSA which are identified in the Missouri-wide Defense Supply Chain Analysis as contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. In addition to these 332 firms, we propose to offer to Boeing an opportunity for Boeing to recommend the programming to select Boeing subcontractors and suppliers. We estimate Boeing recommendations might provide an additional 20 firms. We also propose to coordinate with DCMA St. Louis for DCMA’s recommendation of firms, and we estimate that might provide an additional 20 eligible firms. This results in a target audience of approximately 375 firms. Coordination with DCMA has to-date not produced results. This component of the proposed plan requests support from OEA to encourage the participation of DCMA.
