State of Washington Energy CU 2019
Abstract
The Washington State Department of Commerce seeks grant funding ($1,081,106 over 24-months) to produce a Compatible Energy Siting Assessment and Compatible Energy Mapping Assessment for the purpose of promoting energy siting that preserves Department of Defense testing, training, and military operations in Washington State and its marine waters. This project leverages existing partnerships and past compatible use efforts to align with Washington State’s vision for future energy development with military mission sustainment and interests in regional energy resilience.
