Umatilla CD Redevelopment 2020
Abstract
GRANT ABSTRACT The Columbia Development Authority (CDA) is seeking funding for the continued planning and redevelopment of the Umatilla Army Depot (UAD), located in Umatilla and Morrow counties in Eastern Oregon. The grant is for continued CDA operational support and consulting services associated with the following: - Legal assistance for Economic Development Conveyance (EDC) transactional documents, and environmental review and liability assessment associated with the EDC. - Planning assistance to update the infrastructure assessment and redevelopment plan. This grant will advance the Army s mandate to return approximately 9,649 acres of the UAD back to local control and remove them from the Army s active base inventory. CDA expects to finalize this transfer in 2020.
