Fort Drum
Abstract
The Development Authority of the North Country (DANC) has requested funding from OEA to conduct a water line analysis of the 11-mile water line to Fort Drum, which is owned by DANC. A physical analysis and assessment of the pipeline will be performed, along with a review/analysis and business plan with recommendations for the long term viability of the water line. DANC will also be developing a GIS based query tool which will improve information sharing between all stakeholders. The query tool will be integrated with the existing internet mapping application, located on the FortDrumCompatibility.org website. Funding will also be used for a liaison between Fort Drum and the surrounding communities, and an educational symposium.
