Mountain Home AFB - Facility Upgrades
Abstract
The Grant enables the Mountain Home School District to make repairs and necessary upgrades Mountain Home School District (MHSD) facilities - East Elementary School, North Elementary School, West Elementary School, Hacker Middle School, and Mountain Home Junior High School. The MHSD Facilities Upgrade significantly enhances the educational environment for all military-connected students at these schools, which represents the only local public school option for on-base students in grades 5-12. MHSD Facilities Upgrade addresses the Tier I Military Quality of Life factor, outlined in the Office of Economic Adjustment Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot Project Final Federal Funding Opportunity.
