Fort Leonard Wood - Early Childhood Center

Abstract

The Grant enables the Waynesville School District to renovate and modernize the Parker Fine Arts Center, an existing School District facility, located off of Fort Leonard Wood, which increases and enhances early childhood capacity and opportunities while also providing additional space for fine arts, extracurricular, and community events. Approximately sixty-five percent (65%) of the students (4,095) in Waynesville R-VI School District are military dependent. The Early Childhood Education Center Renovation / Modernization Project addresses the Tier I Military Quality of Life factor, outlined in the Office of Economic Adjustment Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot Project Final Federal Funding Opportunity.
