Guam National Guard - Multipurpose Recreation and Emergency Center

Abstract

The Grant enables the Municipality of Chalan Pago-Ordot (CPO), Territory of Guam, to construct a 30,000 square feet Multi-Purpose Recreation and Emergency Center adjacent to the existing CPO baseball field and community center. While the Center alleviates readily available access to a recreation facility for personnel assigned to US Naval Hospital Guam and to the Guam Army National Guard Readiness Center; the Recreation and Emergency Center will be made available to any person who possesses a military identification card. The Secretary of Defense instructed OEA to invite a grant application for the Recreation and Emergency Center under the “Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot Project.”
