JB Langley-Eustis - Air Power Park Tidal Flooding Mitigation
Abstract
The Grant enables the City of Hampton to construct an engineered solution to the flooding, shoreline erosion, and stormwater retention problems at Air Power Park, which directly contributes to enhancing the quality of life of the Joint Base Langley-Eustis community, including service members and their families. Construction of these engineered solutions addresses the Tier I Military Quality of Life factor, outlined in the Office of Economic Adjustment Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot Project Final Federal Funding Opportunity.
